Why doesn't somebody help?
I built my home in a river bed. It was dry at the time of course. People said I was crazy for living there, but what do scientists know?
It was just such a cool place to live. It was kind of smelly, but there were plenty of clams and we had great parties.
Then it started raining. Some people said I should leave because my house was in a river bed, but I said to hell with that. This is my home! I'll ride it out!
Well, my house was flooded and is in the middle of a river now. Most of my family was killed, and I lost everything. I'm living on my roof now. But I don't regret not leaving. After all, they could have been wrong about the rain.
It all makes me sad and depressed of course, but mostly I'm angry. I'm angry because it's been a week, but those lazy (and racist) federal agencies won't get off their asses and save me already!
Send me helicopters! Send me food! Send me money! And make it snappy.
